Get Your Band’s DVD into High Traffic Areas

While this may make it into the podcast, I just heard about it and thought I’d tell you about it. There is a site called Customflix (www.trycustomflix.com )

This is a DVD/ CD on demand system service. I recently got an update from them explain some new and interesting exposure opportunities. These include:

The ability to sell your customflix titles on Amazon.com. They work with amazon.com to set up your product page.

They’ve also networked this in the IMDB (Internet movie Database) so that titles available on Amazon.com may now be eligible for listing as well. IMDb is the world’s largest movie database, with over 42 million visitors each month  Now the fun part is Amazon recently started a project called “Unbox” where people can download video to their Tivo system.  So now having a title on customflix can get you into Amazon, the IMDB, and Tivo.  

You can set up an account for free (or open an enterprises account for 24.99 which has per transaction fees associated to it). You may want to check it out for your DVD or CD at www.trycustomflix.com
