Alec Berlin Takes Some Advice - And Its Working

I got an email from Alec Berlin. I’ve never heard of him. He said he had a new CD out, and his influences were blah blah blah, yada, yada ELVIS COSTELLO, yada. Hey I like Elvis Costello. I went over and head him at myspace, and emailed him back and said Alec you should really think about putting some music on the Podsafe Music Network. I sent him a link to my free report Promoting Your Band With Podcasting. (Which is a chapter out of my book “Get your band out of the basement and keep them out of the asylum ” which is available at www.musicianlibrary.com

He replied and wanted my address to send me a a CD anyway. He said he would some tunes. He did, that was a day (maybe two) ago, and today I checked and he’s already had music played on three different podcasts.

It takes more than listing your songs on the PMN (you still need to network). They say “You can’t win if you don’t play” when they speak of the lottery, well you can’t get podplay if you don’t list your songs on the PMN. If your music good, chances are you will get some play. Alec is up to three and its only been a day or two.
