Cool iPod Application for Sound Engineers
I’ve got a great iPhone app for the Cooler – at least their techie friends.
It’s called SignalScope and it’s a full-scale real time audio analyzer which will handle the full 20-20kHz audio range*. I’ve already used it on a bunch of gigs and it works great to tweak monitors, or check problems at front of house. It may not be as accurate as professional RTAs costing $1000 or more, but at $25, it’s the best money I’ve spent this year! Every live sound engineer should get it

Sent you a msg via twitter, but you dont seem to be following us… yet
We’ve sorted out the “official” home site, and we’ll get the MySpace looked on so it loads a lot faster.
I like the idea of getting the player on our own page, but I thought that was against Ts&Cs, I’ll have to look that up
Peace and stop blowing me out

This is an interesting more, but I still dont see how it is big news. http://routenote.com has been developing these music distribution partners in recent months also.
We built a tool specifically for musicians, promoters and venues to promote their gigs and news with eBlasts and SMS. We also have an online/mobile guest list management tool.
There is a free ad supported or paid version. Check it out: http://www.championsound.com
Dave,
Great suggestions on the sites to help market your band. It’s like finding a needle in a stack of needles out there on the net. I dig your podcatsts too, always full of good info. Check out my post on some cool free tools to help design flyers, press kits etc..
