Pull in Your Listeners With Lyrics

I was over at ww.judithowen.net and she has TONS of ways to entertain people on her website. She has videos, she has lyrics, she has music. The one thing that really caught me over and over was her "behind the song" kind of stories. These combined with her lyrics really had me tied into the song emotionally. This emotion got me to go to www.supportthisshow.com and buy all of her albums (Here is an awesome album).

I browse myspace on a regular basis and I'm always amazed at how many people DO NOT put their lyrics on their myspace page player. It's an option, and people are already listening to the song, why not have the lyrics?

You should definitely have them on YOUR website. Your lyrics also provide food for google and other search engines. So let's review:

Food for search engines
Brings in your listeners emotions
Sells more music.
