A Directors Cut To Your CD

Back in the day I loved Mystery Science Theater. It was a show where you watched movies and the hosts of the show made comments (hillarious comments) about the movie. Well the guys from MST are back at RiffTrax.com You play this while you watch your favorite Movies (Harry Potter etc). This got me thinking.

Why not offer a companion mp3 file to your CD (or vice a versa)? So now when someone buys your CD they receive an mp3 file to put into their ipod. You count down to three and tell them to push play. Then you start to comment about the songs, the lyrics, whatever. Its a directors cut. ( I guess it could be two cds, most people have two cd plaers in the house).

You could make a "members only" kind of perk to people who sign up for your "Fan Site". Looking for a way to make a membership site. Check out the resources at Weekly Web Tools
